re: …when attaching them, I can't find them.

By "attaching them" I'm guessing you are using "Format / Create External Reference". This just places the reference into the Blocks palette. You now have to drag it from the palette into the drawing area.

To attached a saved TCW drawing to your post, click on the "Additional Options" link to the left of the Reply window. This will allow you to attach up to 6 files. The files are stored on a server somewhere.

If you're using V18, the Samples folder is a sub-folder of the Drawings folder: C:\Users\your user name\Documents\TurboCAD Professional 18\Drawings\Samples.

If you're using V17 or before, the Samples folder is located with the Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\IMSIDesign\TCWP17\Samples. This you may not find since this location is usually hidden from users by Microsoft.

One thought, while the file is open and saved (if necessary), go to "File / Send". This will start you email program and the drawing will already be attached.

Otherwise, in Windows Explorer, go to "Tools / Folder Options —›View" page. Activate "Show hidden files and folders".

in turbocad 'open' dialog box
right clicked on sample drawings and
saved drawings both said not shared
but we can see sample drawings in
outside browsers
so that's probably not the problem
