New HDRI Bedroom Render....

Hi All

Been playing around with Rendering again, got rid of the shadow splats! and used HDR image for lighting up the scene....got the ceiling "shine" with this! :-)
Also I have used the brochure photo shot to get the colouring and exposure settings somewhere close..

*Edit 30/12/11 - This clearly shows that this setting is not correctly showing the plastic reflectance materials correctly (the wood grain).....something I am currently working on http://forums.turbocad.com/index.php/topic,7822.0.html*

Excellent work Darrel, the only thing that I would change is the cornice, I would make it matt instead of reflective. Well Done!.

Darrel, you should be proud of that. Looks a lot better without the coving at the ceiling as int the brochure version IMHO. B.R. Alan.

Beautiful render. I know it may be a bit late to comment, but would you please share the HDRI settings you used.

Thanks,

Thanks Don.......Are you still using 17.2?
The advanced rendering has changed on TC18 so the settings wouldn't be much use, I don't think, in your version...

Yes, unfortunately I'm still using 17.2. There's no room in the budget to upgrade.

Thanks,
Don.

Beautiful design. I especially like the point of view of the Zara and Wisconsin image with the chandelier in the upper corner. Very nice!

Love those wardrobes.
