I agree, Don it should be stickied at the top of each category to make sure everyone knows about the competition.

I agree, but only administrators can make them Sticky. I think Rip or Dave must have done that with the previous years. Hopefully they will again.

re: Sticky

I think they need to un-stick some of those topics, as the list is getting quite long now. Pretty soon I may have to scroll-down to find new posts on this board. 4 or 5 topics isn't bad, but 10 or more gets to be a bit much. Maybe they could use a "General Announcements" board like the DoubleCAD forum for these 'stuck' topics.

Just sent my entry in now Don, with just 40 minutes to spare.

Good Luck to all the contestants, and again many thanks for hosting the challenge again this year, and also the sponsors.

Lucky I managed it this year, as my computer took the knock a couple of weeks ago, so have been working in safemode. Strange as it seems Don, safemode is the best mode to be in when you need every ounce of memory, don't know why I never tried it before, worth a test with the benchmarks.

I am wondering if you do more than 1 contest a year or if I have to wait till 2012 to give it a try?

It has been once a year so far. I don't foresee that it will change.

You can alway post your work in the Gallery of this forum for now and pick your favorite for entry in the next year's challenge, providing it occurs.

Please help me Congratulate the Winners of the 2011 TurboCAD Challenge.

First Prize goes to Steve Goldberg for his Editing Formula 1 entry.

Second Prize goes to Terry Moss for his Allchin Traction Engine entry.

Third Prize goes to Michael C. Geraghty for his Sextant entry.

Please have a look at the TurboCAD Challenge Winner's Gallery.

The prize winners have now been emailed and asked to select one of the three IMSI/Design prizes and the five Textual Creations tutorials that they desire. Their names will also be emailed to the other prize donors who will take care of supplying their contributions.

Thanks goes to all of you who participated in the 2011 TurboCAD Challenge by submitting an entry. In the eyes of your TurboCAD peers, you are all winners in every sense of the word. Please know that everyone received votes and in many cases it was a very close race.

Thanks also goes to those who participated in this year's challenge by taking time to view the many entries and by taking time to cast a vote.

Special thanks goes to IMSI/Design, Michael Gibson, SoftDev, Brad Easterday, ITeksoft, Jerry Simington and A-PDF Merger for donating prizes and making the challenge much sweeter than it might otherwise have been.

Thanks to you Don, and all the sponsors and participants in this years Challenge, I for one will be be able to do a lot more this year with my work with the added facilities available. Congratulations to Steve Goldberg for his entry that I know he has put a lot of work into getting that extra sparkle out of his finished rendered works, and also to Terry Moss for  the enormous amount of detail he manages to encompass in his models.

This is my fourth year at the Turbocad Challenge, and like everyone, hope that they get a winning entry, so to the ones who did not win this year good luck for next year.

Regards

I bumped this up from the fourth page to get some moderators attention. Ah turbotech?
Turbo Challenge 2009 and 2010 are still stickied yet this years competition is drifting away.
Could we get some maintenance, please.
Perhaps a couple long time, regular, could be tapped to help with the moderating duties.
