Hi all,
This is my first attempt at a render so I would welcome your comments.
I used TurboCad 16.1 Deluxe.

Thanks
Steve

That's excellent, Steve. Looks to me as if you're pushing Deluxe pretty hard. How'd you do the monogram?

Hi Henry,
Thanks for your comments.
In answer to your question, I extruded flexible text with the number of approximation lines up to max (90) and turned on the “smooth” option.
I think it was this (smooth) that gave the text the filleted appearance.
I forgot to turn on perspective, looks better with it on.
Steve.

The key looks very nice for a first-timer, especially the 3D text. The background ... it's not bad, but not that great.

I couldn't wait to try that for myself, Steve, and the results are spectacular. You've made a remarkable discovery.

EDIT: Further experimentation shows that this effect does not occur when rendered using Radiosity or any of the few Advanced Rendering styles I've tried. Raytrace Full seems optimum.
