tc internal uv coordinates

Does any one know why tc internal coordinates for texture mapping can not be exported to other apps the way sketch up can. In other words if I edit by facet to create the texturing I want in tc then export it none of those textures show up in the other app in this case Thea? Maybe I am missing something simple.

For some reason the TC file converters don't seem to access the lightworks shader properties to write them to a materials file, even though they are programmatically accessible... I know that my ArchiCAD 12 could do it and it uses Lightworks...

This is such a huge problem for me because I now have to use another program for the uv mapping a step I really do not want to take!

I have in the past, used Carrara 3d Basics and Carrara Express to re-apply texture materials to an exported model, where you can make Shader Domains and drag and drop the Shaders on to the domain...and Carrara has a pretty decent render for a final render...HTH
