TCC error, Radius to end of arc differs...

I worked thru the tutorial 1 in the TCC3 book. Then I took my gcode file downstairs and tried to run it on the CNC machine. Mach3 gave me this error: "Radius to end of arc differs from radius to startline 27".

Can someone tell me what that means?

I've attached the screenshot, with the offending line hilighted...

I've also attached the g code that TCC3 exported if you think that helps.

Any ideas?

Go to your Congig | General Config screen & set you IJ mode to incremental instead of absolute.

Another thing you might want to do, that well not directly related to your problem, is to set up a TurboCAD template just for your CAM projects & set the precision to 10 places after the decimal. I was getting wierd occurances of Mach3 rounding off until I did this.

Hi kmartin,

The day you gave me the suggestion it did not work out. Probably because my CNC PC crashed and I was trying to test it on a PC without a com port.

The next day I pulled the wifi card out of my CNC PC and that fixed the crashing problem. Then I toggled IJ to inc, and everything worked like a charm. I notice that I can not toggle the xy position to inc, just the IJ.

BTW, I went into my other CNC program (Vectric Cut 2D) to see why I wasn't getting IJ errors. Turns out that Cut2D converts everything into line segments.

good to hear you are up and running. The reason you cannot toggle your XY between incrimental & absolute is that is is written in the g-code program G90 - Absolute Distance Mode G91 - Incrimental Distance mode

Absolutely, but not just any trailer. This one travels low, and pops up for camping.
