G'Day All,
Complete newbie to TC here, just loaded TC16Deluxe. I have been using AutoCAD up till now . The question is, How do I offset lines, and yes I've looked around the program before i came on here to ask.  Appreciate any answers, also advice as to the better tutorial material and where to find it.

Two ways.  First way is OFFSET is available in the edit menu along the top of the program.  It's also in the group of modify icons on the left side of the page (drawing tools).  Once you select OFFSET, tab to set the amount of offset in the bottom left hand corner, and then pick entity you'd like to offset just like in AutoCAD.

re: How do I offset lines?

First thought that comes to mind is the Parallel Line tool on the Line toolbar. You did say 'lines'. :-)

Otherwise, you can use "Edit / Offset" that Cameron mentioned.

This picture of the Toolbars might make it seem a little less foreign.
