context menu and popups in 16

I use V10.5 because I've got a couple of seats installed at various places, and V15 on one.  One thing that bugs me about 15 is the behaviour of the right-click context menu.  Bring it up at the wrong point in the drawing window and the context menu obscures the popup, reducing it's utility.  The earlier version always puts the context frame outside the popup frame.  Does V16's behave like 15's?

re: Local Menu hiding the Pop-Up toolbars

I can force V16 to do this on my 19" monitor if I have the toolbars stacked 7 high, otherwise I don't run into this problem.

Thanks John.  V15's on my laptop, but 10 on the same PC doesn't do it.  If I right click to use the popups and they're obscured, it requires an escape, move, and another right click, making them only useable as they're intended only some of the time.  Undesirable behaviour that should be seen to, IMO.

You're working with two different UI's. Switch to the V11UI in Version 15 and see if it happens there (Tools / UI Themes). While the problem should be looked into, using the V11UI may be a workaround.

Your best bet is to file a report on this. At least you'll hopefully find out if it's as designed or it can be corrected.
