DRAWING DOORS

We have recently bought TurboCAD deluxe15 for work

One area of our work is the installation of level access showers.

We have to provide a 2D plan of our works, to agree layouts with clients but are still learning about TurbCAD

Drawing the wall outline is fine and a window symbol was easily drawn and loaded into the library, but trying to get a drawing of an opening door is not so easy.

We can draw one, but unlike the window symbol, which seems to automatically remove the double wall lines, the door symbol doesn't

Has anybody got a good tip, alternatively provide a link for a downloadable door.

We have picked a default width of 100mm for our wall thickness.

Regards !  8)

Have you tired using the door tool?

Are you having trouble with the door tool?

You can also create a block to drop into a wall.

When creating your Door, where do place the reference point? It should be in the middle when then door is in the closed position.

See the Door-01 Block in the attached.
