molding tools

I’m making a mold using a 3D printer and doing the design work on TurboCAD first off so all volumes are reversed, In making that I needed a thin “triangular sectioned ring” making that from a square section, subtracting the triangular section configuration from a square section.  Ending up with another equilateral triangular section ring but its hypotenuse inverted bulging inward - an inverted radii if you will.

For some reason making this ring is fighting me every step of the way, so I’ll parked it a few hours then chew on it again - maybe getting closer to the desired delineation.
Maybe new eyes will see right off how best to tackle this debacle.

Thanks,

Bob

I'd apply the Revolve tool to a profile shaped like the desired cross section.
