When using these commands to 'copy' and 'set the copy' of a detail to another sheet, the detail is finally copied to another sheet, but is almost blown apart into some pieces. The text and leaders will be scattered and some of the blocks (i.e. screws) are blown up with some pieces not being able to be moved or deleted. There was a lot of information already on the sheet, where I was going to transfer the detail on to. However, when I copied the same detail to a blank sheet, the detail copied fine.
Any idea what is going on?
Thank you!

Are you in Wireframe display mode when copying and pasting?  If not, you probably won't like what you are getting.

Does being in that mode mean everything is displayed as a wire frame? Right now, it is not. Just displayed as normally viewed architectural details, plans, etc.

You need to be in wireframe for ctrl c and v, in both drawings and also on the same workplane in both drawings.

You could Tile the 2 drawings and drag it over, after start moving press ctrl button and you will make a copy, or just close the original drawing and click no when TC ask if you want to save, that also should make a copy.
