Studio Apartment

This is studio apartment in Spb. Work in progress.
Modeled in 3D Max (main job) and TC, rendered in TC 2018, RedSDK (thanks Majo!).

About  studio: ~30 square meters (box 8x4 m), large window, glazed loggia.
3D model was used for design purposes, as well as for assessing lighting (this is a problem given the cloudiness in Spb and the fact that the windows face north-west).

You can compare the render and real photos :)

Very good.

It's hard to tell the difference between the Render and the real thing.

You can design without engineering, but you cannot engineer without design.
Using Win 10 with Designer 2017 and TurboCAD Pro. Plat. 2016/2017/2018 + Lightworks (64-bit versions) + AnimationLab.

Fascinating.  I wish I could do stuff like this (but I can't find a decent tutorial).

Nice renders  Vlad. and Majo  :)
I have a few questions though  ;D
1> Most of the geometry was imported into TC?
2> what is source of the white triangle on the cabinet?
3 > what is the source of the blurred light on the floor and computer screen?
See attachment.

Theses are truly remarkable renders, very realistic. Kudos to the designer.

Dean,
My opinions on the reflections. (see rendered images back and 7_6)
#1 seems to be reflections of a rectangular light fixture seen in other views.
#2 seems to reflections from the highly polished chrome bas boards seen in other views.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

1. The main problems with 3DS import are related to the incorrect location of some objects (see 3DSgeometry.png) it was fixed manually.

2. (Nice puzzle, Dean. :) )   Similar object is shown in the photo puzzle.png (red rectangles). What could it be? :)
What is your opinion about blue rectangle? :) Vertical lines, what is it?

3.  It is the light from the  Environment with Sky texture 3D (see Sky Texture 3D.png) that is visible through the Loggia + portal.
See StudioWalk.mp4 (daft  render with GI cache).

Thanks Vlad  :)
Similar object is shown in the photo puzzle.png (red rectangles).

IMHO, That looks more real world correct. Similar is not the same.

Vertical lines, what is it?

Vlad-u-metrics > volume  :) :) or refracted light maybe reflection  ;D I'm not going to get into a discussion with a professor of light it's like me telling an engineer it wont work  ;D

Very nice render, I particularly like the wood block wall section.  Brilliant.

Beautiful images.
Love those end wood grain blocks fixed to the wall above the couch.
And the file size for such a large & detailed image is small.

This is 3D wood wall panel.
In fact, this is not a wood :) , it is porcelain tiles. In general, the wood in the decoration was not used (the exception is the MDF panel on the opposite wall), only  porcelain tiles and glass.

3D 'wood' wall panel TACO OXFORD NATURAL

'Marble' tile: SOUL FROST POLISHED

'Wooden' parquet: OXFORD NATURAL
