unhandled exception?

I recently upgraded my turboCad 16 pro to turbo 17 deluxe. I changed because on the v16 I could not go to my options menu native draw without it closing the program with an msg reading unhandled exception. Well now on the v17 I cant even get it open with out getting the same message. Has anyone ever had this issue and what is a fix for it? does it have to do with a driver that isn't up to date or is there another cause?

I dont understand how you can "Upgrade" a 16 Pro to a 17 Deluxe, or did you think of 17 Pro ??

I owned TC 2016 pro, I started getting the unhandled exception when I tried to open native draw in the option menu, I tried fixing the problem but was unable to do so. So I decided to buy TC 2017 deluxe so I could just get a fresh start on the program, but v2017 will not even start and the same unhandled exception pops up.

That makes sense, so then you now have 2 versions of TC.
I would first try a repair of your 16 Pro if that not work delete the built in folder in;
C:\Users\Your username\AppData\Roaming\IMSIDesign\TurboCAD\16\Professional\Profiles.
In both cases TC should be off before doing this, and i dont have v 16 so the adress above is what i believe it is in v 16-
Appdata is normally a Hidden folder
A shortcut to the roamingfolder is to type   %appdata%   in the Run Field when you rigthclick on the windows symbol in left lower corner

And if your Deluxe still not work i would have done the same route with that one as well.

I posted this in the TIPS section

2016 64 bit crashing ... Another Tip for fix

http://forums.turbocad.com/index.php/topic,21707.0.html

The above stabilized 2016 ... but i find V21 to be a better version under Win 8.1
As a everyday runner >> I still find TC  2016 PP to be glitchy (bugs out once a day) .... and am waiting for TC2019 to be released (Hoping it's a stable version)

Cheers
Mike
