Objects Cannot Be Moved or Edited

I have a recent problem with virtually all my work - I can select objects/lines/whatever using the Select Tool, but as I try to move, rotate, rescale or otherwise change the object, no changes are made.  The object moves with the cursor, but snaps right back as soon as I release it.  Snap Mode is Off (I've tried several modes with no change).  Layers are unlocked (I've tried locking and unlocking), I've tried renaming and saving, which doesn't work.  In Drawing Setup/Layers AllReadOnly is (Off) or (ON), with no effect.  In addition, new drawings I create have the same problem.  I can add lines but can't move them - although the Edit Tool works.  The User Guide/Manual is, of course, useless.  Any ideas about what settings have changed?  I'm about to give up and haul out my Paradraft.

I am currently running TurboCAD Pro Platinum 2017 64-bit with Windows 10 - all up to date.  Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

When you select an object, can you modify its position using the Inspector Bar's Pos X/Y/Z or Scale X/Y/Z entries?

Make sure that you haven't locked the coordinate fields by hitting x, y or z inadvertantly.  The little boxes upper left of the respective coordinate boxes may be checked.  I use small icons and I do it once in a while, frustrating myself until I remember to slap my forehead.

Gents, thank you both for the suggestions – I tried modifying the object with the inspector bar – didn’t work.  I also apparently didn’t lock the coordinate fields.  On a whim I cleared out the “Built in” folder and it seems to work ok (at least for now!).  Thanks for your suggestions, I appreciate it.

That was going to be my next suggestion.  Glad you got it working.
