Are you trying to insert an actual spreadsheet or a table of data that has been exported from a spreadsheet into a text file?

The first type of import is possible, but no longer officially supported by TurboCAD because Microsoft dropped support for it, too.

The second type of import can be done with a little planning, such as specifying the font style and size before the actual import.

If you already have the text imported, then you can select it, go into Properties and change its type to Flexible or Scalable.

However, if you are working with IFC, I haven't used that, so I cannot help you.

IFC files are 3d models which keep intelligent information across software platforms. So they wouldn't affect tables anyway.
