IDX Beam Tool

I have had the IDX Beam Tool since V14 or so. It has always carried forward and installed without issue. I had been using it on 2017 without problems when suddenly when I launched it, it said no SN was found. I reentered it in the registry but still would not open. I uninstalled the beam tool and reinstalled it with the SN and that seemed to go fine. Problem, this time when I go to use it, it asks for an activation code. I don't recall ever having an activation code for this tool. I emailed TC support, but they are asking for an invoice for this. I have gone through so many systems that it no longer exists and IMSI has changed ordering systems so many times, most my upgrade history isn't there. I've had TC since V4 pro.

Anyone have this issue with Beam Tool?

Unless your software came in a cardboard box, your Serial Number and Activation Code were most likely mailed to you.

How far back does your email archive go?

I have been through many system losses since getting this. Odd that I had the serial number but not a key saved away. I also don't remember ever having one. It always just installed and ran with the SN. In any case, IMSI supplied another, so it's back up and running

In the last several years, it has been my experience that the Activation Code is not requested.

Try uninstalling, rebooting and re-installing to see what happens.
