2018 RedSDK plugin

In case anyone is interested, IMSI have finally released the RedSDK plugin for v2018, I've seen it on their TurboCad.com website, but not yet available from international sites (UK, CZ, Africa, Norway etc). I assume international sites will be getting it at some point in time, so anyone interested may wish to contact their own countries reseller.

The website gives very little details at present, and new users wouldn't have much of a clue what they would be getting, also the price does not include tax, but I just thought I'd post in case anyone was looking for it.

Thanks for the heads up Andy.

I was looking at their RedSDK Plug-in for TurboCAD 2018 page and went to the "Materials" page. Someone botched the scaling for that "Generic_Material_Photo" and squished it down. They used 220×200, whereas 150×200 or 220×293 would maintain the aspect ratio from the original image.

Yes, it is a bit squashed.   At least they put something on the site, there was hardly anything there when I checked earlier, just a single paragraph above the price.

They have the material type wrong on that page it is not the basic "generic" material but the better Physically correct Realistic Material as per the Redway Docs here - http://www.redway3d.com/downloads/public/documentation/bk_bm_builtin_editor.html
