Hello,
So I have a new problem, when i chose Print to PDF from the printer name menu the whole program freezes up?
I have tried closing everything down and restarting my computer but nothing has stopped this from happening??
See screen shot attached shows "Not Responding"
I have also attached the file just in case its that that's causing this? it dosent seem to happen with other files.
Has anyone else had this happen and if so whats the fix?

I open your file in Expert 2017 as it is nearly a DL anyway
1 time i tryd to change property's on the Microsoft pdf and it start to spin, so i kill it
Open the folder and find there was a dwl so deleted this on and restart Expert open file and print like normal with MS pdf, i even could change property in it without any problem.

So maybe take a look and see if there is a .dwl file just under your file in the folder you have it

Hi Torfinn,

I have looked and yes I do show a DWL file below the TC file.
so i deleted it but the second I open up the TC file I get a new DWL file?? And when i try to print to PDF is still crashes :(

Is this a setting I've checked by mistake?

There should be a .dwl if the drawing is open, it is if it's there after a crash it may cause problems and by that be deleted before open TC again.
Maybe something gone wrong someplace in your file, so you could try to insert your file in to a New from scratch drawing.
Open e New from scratch, go to File/ Extract from, and Select the problemfile, check the Box in the Palette that opens so you get everything, save with a New name and see if that help's.
Or have e New from scratch open together with your problem drawing, go to Windows/ Tile and just drag it over, be aware you need to be in wireframe in both drawings, if you press ctrl after start dragging your selection, you will make a copy of the original.

I don't know what it is!!!!!
So I've tried copying and pasting into a new drawing, both from template and from scratch but still crashes :(
I gave up and stated a new drawing, using new from scratch, and once finished I tried to print to PDF and crash :(
Its starting to become annoying  >:(

Try to delete or rename your built-in, normally at
C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Roaming\IMSIDesign\TurboCAD 2017\your version\Data\Profiles

Appdata is normally hidden, but typing %appdata% in win/ run will bring you to the Roaming

TC should be closed when doing this

Torfinn

Edit

Built in is where your personal settings are, so you will need to set up cfg and template when you open TC again

I tried the original file and Print to "Microsoft Print to PDF" and TurboCAD 2017 Deluxe hung. After restarting the program, I printed to "Adobe PDF". I had no problems, except I had to enter my Serial Number for "Adobe Acrobat XI Pro" (which I have on file).

I opened one of my own files and tried to print to "Microsoft Print to PDF". It hung as soon as I changed from my default printer to Microsoft. I've never used Microsoft for PDF and will stick with Adobe or a "Save As PDF" option.

Well I bit the bullet and forked out money and registered with Adobe so its all good now, so strange thou since it was working fine just last week???

This is a new issue after the April Windows update.

Partially can be solved. Sometimes.
Print not from the "Print ..." menu but from "Page Setup ... / Print"

I'm a little late to help you save money, Jamesb, but I had no problems printing your file to PDF using CutePDF Writer (see http://www.cutepdf.com/).
