I'm using v2017 Pro and and upgraded to v2018. For the life of me I can't remember how to utilize the custom configuration from 2017 into 2018 . I hope this memory loss is not a sign of things to come.

Just copy them from v 2017 to v 2018, normally you will find them in
C:\Users\Your Username\Documents\TurboCAD 2017 Professional x64\Config

Just remember there is 2 of them they will have same name but different ending, like "something.xcfg" and "something.xml"
After that go to Custumize/ Options and load them from there

  • In 2018, go to the "Customize" dialog, "Options" page.
  • Click on the "Browse" button.
  • This opens Windows Explorer to the 2018 "Config" folder. This is where your customized 2017 files will be ‘copied to’.
  • Now look for the 2017 "Config" folder.
Copy your custom configuration files (XCFG & XML extensions) and paste them in the 2018 "Config" folder.
  • Close & reopen the "Customize" dialog; your copied configuration should be available in the "Load From" list.
Don't forget to click on the "Load From" button after selecting your configuration.
