Redsdk physical Sky 2018

I figured I’d post a rendering of something a little different, It’s a screen capture. I'm looking forward to rendering it at high resolution.  ;D
This is one of my favorites and often used test models, in 2018 Turbocad.
I’m using the Redsdk Physical sky model.
The only object in the drawing is the water.
The Sky, Sun and Stars are all generated by adjusting the parameters in the Render scene Luminance and Render Scene Environment.
I enjoy sitting by the water at sunrise or sunset, it’s very peaceful.  :)

Looks super Dean...

I just noticed you mention 4GB in your Signature.... This is the RAM you have onboard??

I am surprised you can render this really  :o .... must go into Virtual RAM so a lot of hard disk activity I bet...

I recently added 16GB so now have 24GB on board as I was often hitting the limit of Physical RAM and then a lot of harddisk activity often resulting in crashing etc....

TC is far more stable going from 12GB to 24GB....

I'm impressed.  I really haven't gotten the feel for RedSDK; it would help if there was a "RedSDK Lighting for Dummies".   ;)

Thanks Daz and Jeff  :) it's a lot of fun.

Daz,
Aside from the squeaks  ;D Redsdk runs great on my low end rig. Maybe because redway supports the family of display adapters.
Though mine is not technically supported by redway,it's fine, a little slower than your super duper rig.
I think I would see  faster renders and better performance in very large drawings with ACIS solids etc... by adding more GB. maybe one day, eh
Time is relative for me, "if it works" I don't mine waiting. :)
