Get a better understanding on these tests

Hi All, just want to get some feedback and clarity on the following testing:

Summaries
Four point bend tests were performed on samples in 3 categories:
Tubes ( serve as baseline geometry )
Samples without weaves
Sample with weaves

Advantages
Light weight
Normalized bending stiffness ( rigidity ) on par with tubes of similar mass
Weaved sample has much higher buckling load by restricting the buckle to occur at higher modes, thus higher loads
Energy absorbing of the designed structure is much better than the tubes.

Improvements
Varying and controlling pretension in weaves for increasing the normalized bending stiffness

Uhmm... I'm confused.  I have never seen any 'weaves' in TurboCAD.

Reads as if you are talking about real world stuff.
