I down loaded it with no problems execpt you have to reset you preferences for your desktop al once agin it seens ok but time will tell. Its just a new learing curve to master.
It would be good to get some responces from more advance users to what to expect.

I am no expert or advanced user but, models that were setup with RedSDK will now have to be setup under Lightworks as RedSDK seems to have been completely removed.

When you open an old drawing made in RedSDK there is an option to porting materials to LigthWork.

RedSDK has now been switched the Plugin like Lightworks was previously.
They are still working on the this Plugin for purchasing etc.

One thing that needs to be clarified is if a user opens a drawing that was setup for RedSDK and then save it say, without having the plugin installed, would the materials and all other shaders for RedSDK be wiped from the drawing file?

I tried opening a 2016-era RedSDK file in 2018 and many problems resulted.  You can try looking at Majo's "Pabellon Barcelona".

on 03.04, I payed by using paypal, as other ways did not want to work.
:-[ But since now, despite many reminders, they have neither been in positions to give my the download link nor to give me the keys.
:-[ So I am using the trial version and I like it as I find it easier than Redsdk (I am not a professional user, rather an occasional user for preparation my hobby constructions). I did not do many 3D drawings till now.

I add the following :

yesterday night (European time) Bob Mayer has found the proofs of my paiement and released my software download and keys .

Many thanks to Bob.

Where from Jeff. Is it public version or Beta,  I've still not found anything from IMSI about RedSDK.

I downloaded the trial version 6 days ago and as yet not been able to get it to open. I have every version since 10 and I wanted to test drive it. It installed OK and I entered the temporary code and it said it installed successfully when I try to open the program the window asking for the permanent code, Activate later or extend trial opens I select activate later and the window closes and that's it nothing else happens. The task manager shows it running, it is not in the task bar and there is nothing on the screen. Meanwhile as long as 2018 is installed none of the other versions will open either so if I want to get anything done I have to uninstall the new one. I posted on the problem and fix section last week but I guess no one works there so maybe you guys can help. I jus tried it on my work computer today and get the same results. They will not upgrade if I do not approve it either.
   Any Ideas?

Try this,

in Windows Task Manager, end all instances of TurboCAD.
Close Task Manager and select to run TurboCAD 2018 as Administrator.
This may work.
