Fillet2D won't work on mirror copy

I have a polyline consisting of two line segments and an arc segment in the middle. I mirror copy the polyline and then try to do a Fillet2D to smooth the transition from line segment to arc segment. The Fillet operation works fine on the original polyline, but TC refuses to do it on it's identical twin, even crashing the program sometimes. Is this just a problem with Mirror Copy?. In the example file, the original polyline is on the left.

It's a Workplane problem.

I suspect you were in 3D mode when you selected the polyline and performed the Mirror copy. Your mirror copy is on a different workplane (flipped over). If you select the errant polyline first (to switch to its WP), then you should be able to use the Fillet2D tool without a problem. Otherwise, select the bad polyline, activate "Plane by World" and "Place on Workplane", then Fillet2D.

I'll keep that solution in mind. Thanks.
However now the Fillet2D won't work even on a new polyline. I drew a simple line segment, arc segment, line segment, and adjusted the direction of the arc segment to approximate the original shape. I did the Fillet2D command 10 times and Ctrl-Z'd it 10 times and it gave the error message 4 out of ten times, and worked the other six. I don't know what the issue is now.

A simple solution is to enable "safe UCS mode" when in 3D selector mode.
Mirror copy will not change the 2d objects workplane.
The fillet should work after the mirror copy.
