I've tried several types, quallity, advanced, draft and none have worked. I reset the lights to the default. I'm using Turbocad 2016 pro without any plugins.  I got the relay drawn and it looks fine in hidden line mode and I can see shapes in draft mode but everything is washed out. In quality and advanced mode it disappears to all white after rendering is complete. For what I'm doing I don't need photo realism I just need to see the parts and how they fit. In an effort to get it working I reset the lights to default without any significant change.   I'm stuck since everything I've done hasn't worked.  Would someone please point me in the right direction?

Much better, thanks. adding the luminescence to the small cylinder was probably a result of a bad guess on my part.  It now looks recognizable.
