Drawing Dimensions

I can't seem to get my drawing dimensions to work in a drawing I am working on. The drawing and model are in metric, my metric size shows as it should but my alternate is multiplied by 2. No matter what I do the alternate dims always revert to 2X scale. My views are set to 1:2 so if I start a dimension I can see the dimension is half what it should be just before I finish placing the dimension, but after lacing the alternate jumps to a scale of 2.

Last image shows I am starting out at a scale of one on my primary.

Do you see anything wrong in my dialogs? Anyone have issues like this?

I get the same as you Don.

Both Model & Paper Space are set to Metric.
I drew a rectangle (120×213mm) in Modelspace.
Inserted a Viewport in Paperspace and fixed the Scale to "1:2".
Set up the Dimension properties with By Drawing for Primary and "in" for Alternate.
The "inches" come out at the wrong size like yours. 120mm = 9.448819 in & 213mm = 16.771654 in.

I'd call it a BUG.

Looks like things went a bit off from 2015, as its OK in v21.

Also (for me) if I save a 2017 file as v21 format, then close the file and open up the file that's just been saved (again in 2017) , the alternate units are correct,  but if more dimensions are added, the new alternate units are wrong.

Thanks for confirming you see the same thing.

Dean, I am confused by your response, did you mean to say display "incorrectly"?
