Try this please:
>In your Windows Operating System management, go to User Account Control (UAC).
>Turn the setting all the way down to "Never Notify" (or similar verbiage).
>Restart your computer as directed by Windows.
>Re-try what you are trying to accomplish
That works for me
I just tried what you are trying to do, using your file, with my version-11 TurboCAD installed on a Windows-7 system, with the UAC set to something other than "Never Notify" (what I term "turned Off")
Sure enough, as I expected, I experienced the same issues you are describing.
When I change UAC to "Never Notify", restart the computer, open version-11--- no issue.
In my experience, using version-11 on a Windows-7 (and Vista?) or more recent machine, UAC has to be turned "Off" for TurboCAD version-11 to function fully. Without turning UAC "off", I estimate I (we) am getting about 60% functionality.
As I have said in the past: I can't blame IMSI, the developers didn't have access to the more recent Operating Systems when they developed version-11.
