As far as I know cutplane does not work with lightworks, therefore Ive got an object made from many layers that I want to print, one half in quaity render and the other half as wire frame. The object has been cut in 1/2 to simulate cutplane modelling.

So what Im hoping todo is only render one half with quality raytrace and the other half being rendered as just wire frame then finally print to TurboPDF with a defined template.

Is that possible in tcw2017?

Using TCW 2015, 2016 & 2017 Platinum, Animation Lab V5, Graficalc, Lightworks mostly
Windows 10 Home ed. i7 @ 3300Ghz, 16GB, Nvidia 960GTX 4GB ram, 2TB HD, 500GB SSD & 128GB SSD

Here's what I always thought I'd do:

>Insert a Viewport into Paperspace
>Copy in Place that Viewport
>Draw some sort of closed Polylines, to use as an Update Viewport Boundar(ies)
>Update the Boundaries
>Make one Viewport a Quality render; the other Wireframe or Hidden Line

Attached is an example.

Another example, using a supplied Drawing File from the version-20PP Samples Folder-- "Mechanic".

Hidden Line Render.  By turning off the "Box" Shell Shape in 2D Selector Properties, I get this cool ellipse frame.*  Couldn't get it to work with a Draft or Quality Rendered Viewport.  Probably with more time and effort it can be achieved.

Thanks Henry.  I learn a lot of stuff trying to figure out how to help others on this Forum; being an intermittent User, I probably forget about half of it.  -Alvin
