Turbocad & New Keyboard

Just replaced my old keyboard with a Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 model and I no longer have basic control with any function keys F1 thru F12. I realise I can program them but I would have thought that these keys would work without modification.

Take the F2 as an example, when hit it previously went to edit mode where you could rename a layers text or if in the designer would pull up the calculator variables pallet. Anyone else using this keyboard with tcw?

Hows it going and what changes did you make?

That problem bit me once upon a time. Don't know about yours, but some keyboards have a key that enables/disables the function keys.

I see in their Specifications page that it mentions:
Lockable F key
Lock your F keys to avoid engaging them unintentionally.

My Dell keyboard uses the “Fn+Esc” keys to activate/deactivate the "F" keys. Take a look in your keyboard User Guide to see how you can activate your "F" keys.

Thanks John I just plain overlooked the FLock key ( for all intents and purposes it could be referred to as F13 )  thats next to F12 key.
