Why is RedSDK brush transparency wierd

New from scratch drawing,  I draw a blue solid fill circle, draw a red solid fill circle partly overlapping the blue one,  set it to 90 % transparent, the colour changes but its still solid,  switch to paper space, back to model space its transparent, carry on drawing more with transparency some end up transparent some solid, close TC open again all are transparent,   close TC, open up again, all are solid.

Like I say its just weird, no consistency, makes using it useless as I don't know what it will look like when the drawing is opened. - No problem with GDI mode.   I noticed Don reported a problem earlier this year, but going of what I see now, nothing got fixed. its even worse in deluxe.

Is it just me ?              RedSDK, 2017 pro, windows 10

CNR

Transparency works okay here, across 3 editions (Plat, Dlx, Des).  ???

Thanks for checking john,   I just tried again in both deluxe and pro and I get the same inconsistency, I'll have to dig into the settings when I time to see what my computer doesn't like about it.

Andy,

I just played with this in 2016 and, for me, it produces the same quirk!

You can design without engineering, but you cannot engineer without design.
Using Win 10 with Designer 2017 and TurboCAD Pro. Plat. 2016/2017 + Lightworks (64-bit versions).

Thanks Tim,

I know John uses a quadro card but I wouldn't think that would make a difference though my GTX66o is getting on a bit now,  I'm guessing its the way John has customised TC that makes it work correctly,    I'll have to go through and test all the settings when I get time.

Thanks again for looking.    Oh and thanks for reporting the spam, I'd been out today so hadn't seen it until I checked E-mail when I got back home, (we get mod Email saying something has been reported).

Hi Andy,

not sure if it helps any, but I am also using a Quadro card.
I do not use redsdk, so, when I ran the test above, it was all with default settings.

I believe it is an update "thing" in RedSDK, if i test i get same result as reported, if i save drawing and close TC, then reopen TC and drawing i get correct result.
Another "funny" thing is if i zoom in a bit, the blue circle turns red ??
