How do you dimension height of an object in TurboCAD Deluxe 2017?..  Can dimension on x or y axis all day long.. no luck trying to dimension a feature in Z Axis (height of an object).  Is it not possible in Deluxe Version?

Have you try'd to set workplane on the side of the object that are in Z direction, before try to dimension it ??

As Torfinn suggested, you have to first set the Workplane to get it to work as you want it to.
"Auto Workplane by Face", "Workplane by Facet", and "Workplane by 3 Points" would work to set the Workplane.
I prefer "Workplane by 3 Points", because it gives us more control as to the origin and orientation of the Workplane (although, sometimes one of the other two, which are quick and easy, serve the purpose)

In the .gif I provided below, I show how to use "Workplane by 3 Points" to set the Workplane, and accomplish what you are asking.  Just click on it to start the animation going.

Your Workspace (TurboCAD interface) will likely look much different than mine.  Workspace themes and configuration in TurboCAD are highly customizable; mine is just what I'm used to.

Here's a static picture of using "Workplane by 3 Points". Just follow the color coded 1,2,3 snap points to create the workplane.

Hi,
Also try "Smart dimensions" > no need to adjust the current workplane.
