Tcfm 16 poor performance and materials not installed

I have recently purchased lightworks and tcfm. Unfortunately the speed at which the plugin functions is very slow. Also i can not get the materials to work. I look in lightworks and it appears the fm materials have not loaded.
Any help and or comments would be appreciated

Which versions of TurboCAD and Furniture Maker did you buy?

Also, how are you checking the Lightworks Materials?

Seems to me that Lightworks has not been properly installed.  I would uninstall and re-install it.  If that doesn't help, then try deleting the Built-In folder after exiting TurboCAD, then re-starting TurboCAD (if you have a custom user interface, then make sure it's been saved first, then remember to load it afterwards).

I dont have FM, but maybe the materials just need to be loaded in to TC ?
Open the Material Palette and see if there is a FM Group in there, else make sure you have the selection from TC database, rigthclick inside the Palette area and select "Load From", then see if there is a folder or a .mat file there that is related to FM somehow, Select it and click Open.
If/ when the material is loaded in a catagory/ Group, open it and see if the materials have a Preview, if not, Select 1 of them , rigtclick and choose Edit LigthWorks material, click on the green Arrow on the top ( rerender ), when that is finish, Select the Group/ Category, rigthclick and Select Rebuild Thumsnail for all Group/ Category, when it is finish click apply Down in rigth corner, then ok out of the meny, now you should see them in the palette.
Then in TC database section, rigthclick an click on Save materials, give it a name as name.mat and you will have it in your system, and can reload it if you need later for whatever reason.
