Viewport shows more than I selected

Hello all. I have drawn three detail drawings spaced out in the same model space. When I window the view to take to paper space I am careful to just window what I want. When I insert the view into the view port it shows parts of the other details that I did not include in the chosen view. Why does this happen?

If the shape of the Viewport created in Paper space does not have the same proportions as the View you created in Model space, then the View will be inserted into the Viewport either at full width or full height, with extra area showing surrounding objects.

Try adjusting the area of the Paper space Viewport until you see only what you want.
