Posting gets a Captcha prompt and ignores it

Twice now while attempting to reply to a post, I was re-directed to a Captcha page (I verified that I am logged in and have so many posts that I should never be encountering these).  Even when I clicked to confirm, the reply was ignored.

I am more than halfway expecting this posting to fail, too, but it passes Preview (which also sent me to a Captcha page when trying to reply).

May have solved it.  The problem went away when I did a generic Reply instead of a Quote.

Anyone else having problems quoting other posts in their replies?

I saw it this morning UK time (about 10 hours ago) when I was minor editing a post, but haven't seen it since, it didn't ask me for any captcha text,  just asked if I was human (had to tick a box for yes).

And i test it now, then we see :)

Edit, i didnt need to do anything for reply and use Quote function.

Well this is a pain in the rear end, I just spent time tying a reply, went to post it and got the are you human captcha, I ticked yes and my post was wiped out, and left me with a blank reply box.  >:(

It was a longish reply so maybe there is a post timer which is sometimes a bit too keen and if you spend too long tying it thinks your not human.

My reply was only of moderate length, but it would still have been annoying to lose it. Turns out, I didn't. All I had to do was go back a couple of screens to the edit page.

I've been getting the Captcha for a while. It seems to only occur if I take too long to post or Preview my reply too many times. It doesn't like multitaskers.

Interesting.  That may be why I occasionally see it.  Will have to keep this in mind.

re: …lost my post reply…

I've had that happen a few times. I can usually recover the post by going "Back" to the previous webpage, but that didn't work one time.

I just wanted to quote Zunair Attif who asked me to share the file that caused my issue and I tried to do so several times but for some reason it did not work

It's happening again for me, too. What makes it especially aggravating is that the test images are so blurry that identifying the required features is mostly guesswork, which often turns out to be wrong.
