Editing Profile Styles in the Style Manager Pallet

I am trying to create and edit Profile Styles in the Style Manager pallet.

When I enter the editing space for a new or existing profile, I get stuck in that space and cannot return to model space.  I can enter the editing space again to edit an additional profile but after competing that edit, the underlying environment is still the editing space from which there is no escape.

I know I am doomed when the green check mark disappears.  The only path back to model space has been for me to close (or crash) and restart.

As I am relatively inexperienced with the program, I understand that I am probably creating the problem myself in some way.  I will try to work out whatever mistake I am making but, in the meantime, it would be great if I knew a way to dependably navigate from profile editing space back to model space.  If I make a mistake in the editing space, I should still be able to back out without crashing or restarting, I hope.

re: …green check mark disappears…

Activate the Selection tool, if it isn't active already, then right-click and select "Finish Block/Group editing" from the Local Menu. This should close out your editing session and return you to the normal drawing window.

Thanks, John.

That works!  The green check seems to disappear whenever I enter the profile editing environment but the local menu works fine.
