Sliceing vs quick pull and surface slice not working

Gents, I have searched forum seen videos and still can't get it.

In my project I made an polyline shape for slice use. I discovered the quick pull and tested about this would do the trick.
The surface with number 1 is same as I tested QP with.

Number 3 is the arc / polyline. But after QP I got shape like number 4.
Is it normal and suppose to be like? Or did I use wrong tool ?

I wanted to compare with regular slice, and I "simple extruded" the same shaped polyline on other side of box for use.
But here I am NOT able to slice by this surface.

What about imprint tool? May it be used? If just drawing an shape to close?

All help and guiding is very much value added.

Best regards

NeverStop, I opened the drawing you posted and cannot find the objects shown in the screenshots. Is it the right drawing?

The QP result will look better if you increase the Faceter Quality (Options>ACIS), but the penalty is that the drawing speed will be much slower.

When using Slice by Surface, the slicing surface must extend beyond the object to be sliced.

Thanks Henry,

You had right, the shape was actually not completely on the edge or beyond.
I also turned the Faceter to 100%, and did NOT notice and difference. But I assume this apply on larger files.
Actually I would have it even better :-)

I could not see any difference with other tools... Is it any preferred tool ??

I did notice a great difference with your drawing in my installation. Sometimes in order to see a difference you must delete the object and then immediately Undo the deletion.
