Can't subtract extruded part

Hello,
I need to make a model as on the attached picture.

Now I have to extrude that curved part from the created model inside and to subtract it. However, TC refuses to subtract it for unknown reason.

Any ideas?

The problem is two zero thickness lines one on top of the other, TC can handle one but can get confused with two in the same place (not a good idea to create a profile this way).

There are a few ways round it, attached are just two alternatives which accomplish the same thing.

I'm not sure that subtracting the extrusion would produce the result you want, anyway. I took a somewhat different approach, as seen in the attached screenshot: I extruded the red Polyline and the red rectangle, and subtracted each of those extrusions from the basic part.
