I know this is an old thread, but here is my input.
A couple of months ago I purchased a Creality CR-10 at an exception price of $380 US from Gearbest. It's a wonderful printer, easy to use and produces great results.
I us TC P-P 2017 to draw my objects, saving as TCW along the way. Once the design is done, I save as STL. I load that into Cura slicer which generates the G-code need by the printer. I need to make changes to the object, I edit the TCW file, then save that as an STL and repeat the process. I'm not to keen on editing the STL (which TC is capable of doing) because I don't like the triangulation/faceting of the surfaces.
And as a tip, set ACIS facet parameter to 100% or you may end up with faceting on round surfaces.
