I just downloaded TC Deluxe 2017 Upgrade from TC Deluxe 21. My first drawing had a message on the screen that said "Redsdk was not supported in this window." When I drew a line, it didn't display... After consulting the Readme file, I changed my display settings to GDI. I can now see the line displayed onscreen. I tried downloading updates to my chipset from Intel, but the installation failed, probably because I think it's detecting a generic chipset and calling it Intel.
My system is about five~six years old, purchased from a local (but now out of business) computer builder/retailer. I know it's an ASUS motherboard with onboard graphics. I'm running Windows 10, and have everything set at 32 bit. I only use TC ocassionally for my home improvement business, so I'm not a "power user."
Here's the question (finally): any thoughts on a decent graphics card in the $75~$150 price range that would be compatable with my older hardware and the new TC 2017 Deluxe? I don't do any 3D yet, but might in the future. A whole new isn't in the budget right now, so I could probably get along on the GDI setting.
Thanks in advance, Dave
