Horizontal Steam Engine

Here is a steam engine I did for fun - a very simple one that mrpete222 built on his youtube channel. I originally started it in TurboCAD and then decided to build it in SolidWorks so I could do a motion study animation. Animation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAYU3gJXkRo

Then I exported as STEP from SW and opened in TC 2017 where I applied materials and rendered with LightWorks.

On new thing I noticed with TC 2017 is that the metric/imperial STEP scaling issue that had been prevalent before has been fixed. No more need to jump hoops to share files with SW or vise versa.

I like this image better than the YouTube animation.  This looks like a piece of art.

Lovely model Don,  coincidentally I was only thinking last week about drawing a steam model, as I inherited have a couple of simple Wilesco steam models.
