Hi all users. I am posting it for the new users or those who often get confused with measurement tools. As, I have been asked by a few users whether is it possible to measure the area of an irregular shape that is drawn using a Polyline tool, and how? So, here comes my answer:

Yes, you can measure the area of an irregular shape by selecting BY ENTITY mode in inspector bar when you select AREA TOOL from MEASUREMENT TOOLBAR. You can get the measurement details in MEASUREMENT INFO PALETTE.

Further, the users often seek the possibility of measuring the area of a polyline. So, yes, you can always measure the area of a polyline by selecting BY ENTITY and CLOSE from inspector bar.

Thanks  :)
