just a little saw

After a few - not very nice months, I finally decided I needed to draw something to take my mind off things, so this is a universal saw from the late 80's / early 90's, a bit like a radial arm saw except it can be used for ripping as well as cross cut / mitre cut (its no longer made).

Just thought I'd share it,

Andy

Nice work Andy!
I'm always a fan of exploded-views.

Very nice model, Andy. Do you remember how much that thing used to cost?

Very Nice, and like Alvin i like the exploded views :)

I had DeWalt radial arm saw's when i was working as carpenter, and it could turn in all directions and by that usefull for whatever i need to do, it was also possible to use it as router but never tested that.

Only drawback was to get it in to a house as the small one was about 65 kg, and bring that one up to 2 store alone in a house without a stair was sort of "funny" :)

Henry,  Thanks, can't remember price exactly but I think it was around £300 making it somewhere around $480 at the time.

Torfinn, Thanks, this one is much lighter at 26 kg, The Dewalt was certainly a more solid saw, unfortunately at the time I got this in the UK the Dewalt was more than twice the cost and I didn't have the funds..

A terrific job on a fairly complex model. It must have taken a while to complete. Thanks for sharing.
