What's the quickest way to repeat the last command without having to go back and click on the same toolbar button?

this shouldn't be necessary in TCPlatinum. Most commands stay initialized until you select a different one.

In TCLTE which is more like autocad the key would be the space bar.

If there's a particular command you wish to be able to repeat easily for some reason you can create your own shortcuts under Tools-->Workspace-->Customize or Tools-->Customize and on the Customize window go to the keyboard tab.

I can see that things like the line command work like that bu when adding orthogonal dimensions I have to go back and click on the button each time.

Nick have you tried the continuous dimensions?
Ortho dimension to get the first dimension then switch to continuous

Nick,

I have used TC for many years, and, used the Orthogonal Dimension tool exhaustively.
However, I cannot remember a time when this tool was as you describe.
So, I am puzzled as to why this could be . . .
I know this doesn't help you any, but, I find Travis's comments to be generally true, in this case.
Perhaps a repair of TC might do it?

It's a real pain, as it is!  ::)

You can design without engineering, but you cannot engineer without design.
Using Win 10 with Designer 2017 and TurboCAD Pro. Plat. 2016/2017/2018 + Lightworks (64-bit versions).

I don't know what caused it but it became a problem after I upgraded to Windows 10, found my accounts package didn't work in Win10 and reverted back to win7. I seem to have now solved it by taking the builtin and config files off my laptop and installing them on my desktop and all seems to be now working as it was, Thanks for the help though!
