Hi
I am new to turbocad. I've been trying to use the bend sheet tool and it keeps leaving these line where i bend it. If i delete the line it removes the bend. The lines show up in the rendering modes.
Why is it there and how do i get rid of it?

Draw the line on a different layer then hide it. Or explode the sheet once and delete the line.
You can also give the line an invisible line type.

If you don't explode and keep the line you can easily modify your sheet by moving the line or changing other settings in the part tree. Once you explode the part the object loses it's intelligence and editing it becomes more difficult.

A lot of other tools in turbocad work similarly. I find that putting all the 2d geometry that control the 3d model on one layer saves me a lot of redrawing time. Although I do sometimes explode parts if I know I am not likely going to need to edit them.

I was having the same problem with the bend line.  Converting the bend line to invisible after performing the bend solved the problem as it was no longer visible.

Shows how querying the forum is most useful.

Any object can also be given a Design Director category in the palette and be hidden or shown from there without alteration to any other property.
