If you want to string copies of a 3D object along a curve, you must do it manually. There is a tool for placing copies of a 2D object along a curve, oriented normal to the curve (AddOns|SpecialTools|Insert|ProfileAlongPath), but it's still mostly a manual operation and the result often needs to be adjusted afterward.

Thanks Henry -

Are there any instructions.

I get the select graphic, then click point on curve, but nothing else.

That's it. The "graphic" is the 2D object, copies of which you want to place along the curve. When you click a point on the curve, Genie places a copy of the selected graphic at that point. The plane of the graphic will be normal to the curve at that point, but the orientation of the graphic in that plane is unpredictable as far as I can tell.
