Nice effects there, WD. I think "Sparkle" is especially interesting.

Well done! How did you do the flares on the 2nd flashlight? I like that effect.

W. D.

to me, they are all brilliant.
I was just wondering, what's in the candy jar?

You can design without engineering, but you cannot engineer without design.
Using Win 10 with Designer 2017 and TurboCAD Pro. Plat. 2016/2017/2018 + Lightworks (64-bit versions) + AnimationLab.

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback.  :)

Tim; I made this candy jar in high school in metal shop where I poured it from a sand mold call Petrobond and turned in the lathe after the casting process.I made a plastic Teflon liner.I gave to it father as father day gift he used store his jelly beans candys. ;)

Jason B.; Those images are combination of rendition elements with panorama exr. file as background,Flashlight has chrome look created with conductor shader and plain white. The dust particles effect is with fleck & glow settings. The lens flare can be done on background of your choice but recommend creating it first on background with no 3d objects in separate file to get the setting you desire.

This help me understand the setting more clearly. If you look at the following link John R shows the variety of settings available. Its lengthy process to explain so no simple answer. A lot trial and error over time & experimentation.Took few days to get I didn't do it all in one sitting. If it can be found in the forum you want may want to check out Brian Carter's diamond ring to you look over. The tcw. file it has the settings, and download it if its available.I couldn't find it.

EDIT: after some more searching in the forum I found the link for Brian's Diamond Ring for those who need some help with lens flaring the setting in the advance, luminance, materials, palette. The tcw. file is avaialble & very good model to understand little about lens flaring.

Thanks for the info WD. As I am new to Pro-Plat, I did not know that Lens Flare was an option in advanced render. I have so much to learn!
Is there a book out there with Lightworks info?

Jason

Don't know of books that is out there but I must say it may be worth exploring amazon or google it up.I always refer to the help section of TC or wiki for help.If need help with something Don Cheke is our resident tutor he has a site with assortment of tutorials and Tips. Lens flare isn't all that complicated experiment with different settings on blank colored background it help.
