Version-20.2; Build 51.3-> 3D Selector Properties-> Extents CS; I.B. CS

Does anyone know if this is a known (and accepted) issue:

In version-20.2(Build 51.3), with 3D Selector Properties set to-> Extents CS= "Entity CS"; and Inspector Bar CS= "World CS", the Inspector Bar values are reporting as if the Inspector Bar were set to "Extents CS".

(Sometimes... with different entities.  In the attached drawing, it is when I select all the 4x8x22'-10½" joists.  These are Blocks that are copies of a Block that-- after insertion-- was rotated 270°.  I don't remember earlier versions behaving this way.)

Thanks, Alvin

HI Alvin, I checked in v20 pro, v21 pro and v16 deluxe and it works the same for me in all versions.

If all the objects have the save bounding box orientation (x, y, z) then the inspection bar reports the size as if its selected extents, and rotation will seem odd to what one may expect also taking on extents,  however if just one of the objects has a different orientation, then the bounding box of the selected objects will change to report the size in world coordinates, and rotation will also be world, position will be reported in world coordinates no matter what.

Well at least that's how I've viewed it.

Thanks for checking on that and the feedback Andy.

I was getting the same behavior/results you reported.  I guess I just never noticed this, or had this situation, before.

I'll adapt.  Thanks again Andy.  Cheers! -Alvin
