I decided to go back to pre-RedSDK day's and try to do a rendering on some submitted .tcw files to get a clearer picture between  v21 Plat. and 2015 Plat. Renders. I am thinking about getting the LightWorks plug-in ($100) but now not sure if I need it. Anyway I went back to page 64, Bob's "metal twist" tcws. Tried the "metal wist test.tcw" with Adv. rending in both v21 and 2015 both came out  the same (orange color rendering.)

You do not need to purchase the Lightworks Plug-in as RedSDK has all the Photorealistic options. In fact RedSDK is "made" to be phyically correct regarding light and materials. The problem you may have is you need to apply or create a RedSDK material on the object/s.

It is early days for us all to get our heads around the material settings which some of us are working hard to understand.

This is a recent render....apart from the light GI errors on the window blind you can begin to see the potential of RedSDK in TurboCAD....

Thanks Darrel, I will save $100. I will just keep v21 install for now. I love that render.

Impressive render Darrel.

You sure you are not qualified to build a RedSDK guide to rendering a bit like HH's some years back?
