HI All,  I just wondered what resolution people use for YouTube, I've never put anything on YouTube and reading on the web people have different ideas, I read that YouTube resamples to 640 x 360, but some recommend uploading higher than that, the test Anim-lab renders I've done are at 854 x 480.

Anyway just wondered  what size other TC users use to upload, I'm not ready for uploading yet - still checking for errors, timings etc, which is taking a while (about 1100 frames and 700 commands).

Thanks ........ Andy.

As a viewer it is always nice to watch HD videos. I have just recently upgraded to Camtasia 8 which lets a user produce 1080p . It has some nice abilities to record full screen 1920x1080 and upload with very nice results. Camtasia 7 would only allow 1280 x 720.

I have uploaded a sample video this evening. Sorry it is not using TurboCAD because I am just orbiting the model and doing so in TC is choppy unless one is in wireframe. I am not sure why it takes about 18 seconds for HD to kick in but I have noticed that on the last two videos I have uploaded. I have so much to learn.

YouTube has gotten way better with option for viewers so why not produce good quality and let people choose.

Thanks Don, you've certainly given me something to think about, though 1920 would definitely be overkill in my situation as the actual drawing parts are very simple (not much to look at)
