I am new to Turbo Cad and want to know how to make a long section from a survey plan.

I have Turbo Cad 19.

I was planning on upgrading to Turbo Cad 21 Platinum Pro given the special for an upgrade. is it worth it?

Try this http://www.surfacemodeling.com/Movie/SurveyCoordinates.2.5.html
He updated it to work with TurboCAD x64 and it does but, on some machines it doesn't - were trying to figure out why.

Can you upload/attach an example of an example "survey plan" you are wishing to use for this, or provide a Link to a specific document within a public/government site which has one.

Also:  Are you wanting all topography here, with "hilly" terrain showing the elevations of such?  Are you thinking 3D? or is 2D your objective?  Please provide a bit more detail on your objective outcome, along with an example "survey plan" that you would be working with.
