Trying out some AnimationLAB

Hai, I'm pretty new to AnimationLAB and animation in general, but I just wanted to give it a try.
I guess I'll develop techniques to make it better, hopefully. I do see it is slightly jerky.

Anyways here goes: Piston á lá Bent.




Oh, yeah. Gifs don't seem to speed up significantly (at least in web browsers) if I increase the Frames per second. They do however if I play them in Quick Time.
Any comments on that one?

It is very hard to figure out stuff about AnimationLAB alone, I might add. I'm just assuming that Winston added nodes, and made them linked to a path, controlled by the middle node that follow a circular path.
I have no idea how to do this though.

I'm just assuming that Winston added nodes, and made them linked to a path, controlled by the middle node that follow a circular path.
The big ends of the rods follow a circular path. The rotation of the rods is calculated so that the small ends fall on their respective linear paths.

Because rotation in TurboCAD is not absolute, I had to calculate the a rod's relative rotation (current frame rotation minus previous frame rotation).

Yes, you can use constraint in AL.
